What is a slab leak?
A slab leak is a leak in a water line that runs under or through the concrete slab a home is built on. Many Valley homes are slab-on-grade, so their supply lines sit under the floor where you can't see them. When one of those lines leaks, the water soaks into the soil or comes up through the floor.
Slab leak detection without guesswork
Opening concrete is the expensive part, so accuracy matters most. We isolate the leaking line with pressure testing, trace where it runs with an electronic line locator, then pinpoint the leak with acoustic equipment and thermal imaging. You get a written report of what we found, with photos.
Slab leak repair options
Spot repair: we open the slab at the leak, repair the pipe and close it back up. Often the most direct fix when the rest of the line is in good shape.
Reroute (bypass): we abandon the leaking section and run a new line through walls or the attic, so the slab stays closed. Often a good choice when a line has failed more than once, or the leak sits under hard-to-replace flooring.
Repipe: we replace a section of the plumbing or the whole home's supply lines. Worth considering when the pipes are aging and leaks keep coming back.
Epoxy pipe lining: we coat the existing pipe from the inside, which can avoid opening floors in suitable situations.
We'll tell you which options fit your home and why. Then you choose. Every repair carries our 2-year parts and labor warranty.
