KNOW THE SIGNS

Signs you need this

Yellow or brown stains on a ceiling or wall

Bubbling, peeling or cracking paint

Soft, swollen or warped drywall or baseboards

A musty smell or visible mold

Dripping from a light fixture or vent

Water at the base of a wall with no obvious source

HOW WE DO IT

A clear, three-step approach.

01

Find the source

Thermal imaging shows wet materials and hot-water lines behind the drywall. Pressure testing confirms which line is leaking.

02

Open small

We open a small, targeted access at the leak instead of cutting out large sections of wall or ceiling.

03

Repair and test

We repair the pipe or fitting, pressure-test it, and back the work with our 2-year parts and labor warranty.

Why the stain isn't where the leak is

Water travels along pipes, framing and drywall before it shows, so a stain in one room can come from a pipe in another. That's why we locate before we cut. Thermal imaging shows where materials are wet and where hot lines run, and pressure testing confirms the line.

In-wall and ceiling leak repair in Phoenix

Common causes include failed fittings, pinhole leaks in supply lines, leaking shower and tub valves, washer boxes and drain connections. Once the source is confirmed, we cut a targeted access opening, make the repair and test it under pressure before we leave.

You get a written report of what we found, with photos, for your records or your insurance company.

“I recently purchased a condo and was advised I may have water damage/potential leak. I had Damon and Autumn come out and they did a wonderful job at thoroughly inspecting each area of concern… They were very thorough, very efficient, fairly priced, and very down to earth.”

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Who do I call for a water leak in my wall or ceiling?

A licensed plumber who does leak detection. The first job is finding where the water is coming from, which is often not where the stain is. Call Western Sky at (602) 767-5343.

How do you find a leak inside a wall without tearing it open?

Thermal imaging shows wet areas and water lines behind the surface, and pressure testing confirms which line is leaking. Together they help us target the access opening.

How do I stop mold after a water leak?

Stop the water first. The leak has to be found and repaired, then the wet materials need to dry out completely. We find and fix the leak, and we'll tell you what we saw so you can decide on drying or mold remediation.

Stop the stain at its source.
